IMPERIAL GERMAN VISORED FIELD CAP.

A nice example of a small size visored field cap possibly worn by an nco in a Prussian Regiment. Constructed in heavy corded material, no moth damage, red centre band, which is covered with its camouflage band cover, the Prussian cockade has been placed over the cover indicating that the cover has always been in place. On lifting the cover away from the band the different shade of red below the band can clearly be seen. Ersatz type sweatband, the cap is completely unlined.
