BRITISH WWII ARMY CHAPLAIN’S OVERSEAS DRESS CAP.

A fabulous quality cap for an army chaplain. The beautiful purple colour of the main body of the cap is set off by the lower portions in black. Gold piping to either side of the upper envelope. The most magnificent Chaplains Department multi constructed badge with blue enamels and gilt. Two Chaplains Department Kings Cross buttons to the front. Silk lined in gold with its original paper size label of 6 7/8ths intact with the lower part of the sweatband in a light velvet.
