GERMAN WWII PANZER UNIFORM INSIGNIA SET.
A very nice service worn set of NCO shoulder boards, Panzer collar patches, breast eagle and Panzer Krim Shield all to one man. Obviously removed by the soldier as a memento of his service in WWII and we still have them placed in the small bronze box they were found in. Comprising a matched set of black wool centred slip-on shoulder boards, silk pink piped, single row of tress surrounding the whole shoulder board, which is slightly loose in places and in some spots oxidised, complete with one rank pip to each shoulder board. A matching set of silk pink piped collar patches with conversant wear to the shoulder boards, with a matched set of Panzer skulls. Accompanied by its early white machine embroidered breast eagle, which has conversant wear to the collar patches and shoulder boards and with stitches remaining where removed from its black Panzer tunic. Also within the group is a mint unissued condition Krim Shield with the black Panzer backing cloth, which has not been fitted to the uniform, we can only imagine that the insignia was removed at the war’s end and the Krim Shield had never been fitted to his uniform.
