Officer quality saddle shaped visor cap, some discoloration and staining to the crown. Golden yellow waffenfarbe to the crown and upper and lower sections of the dark green centre band. Metallic national eagle with the bullion wire cockade. Situated between the eagle and the cockade is a Prussian style eagle with the letter ‘K’ to its breast, we have unfortunately no idea what this tradition badge is for. Standard officers cap cords. Although the cap is not size stamped on test we assume size 56 or 57. The sweatband is all intact but has been repaired and does have evidence of age storage staining. The centre celluloid lozenge is missing, the upper inner crown in badly stained but the remains of a Paderborn retailer is still visible.
