GERMAN WWII LEICA CAMERA BOX.

A scarce box for a Leica camera, marked ‘Ernst Leitz Wetzlar’ to the exterior in gold leaf. To the inner lid there is an ink marking ‘FL No.38214’, to the front of the lower box ink stamped ‘Luftwaffen Eigentum’ with some further unidentified numbers, possibly the number of the camera itself to the upper inner section of the lid. To the very base a series of hand written numbers .
