GERMAN WWII ARMY TRANSPORT M.38 OVERSEAS CAP.

A lovely condition M.38 overseas cap, possibly mint, unworn. All nap to the cloth good. Grey on green Bevo woven eagle with correct cockade. Inverted blue waffenfarbe for a transport unit. It should be pointed out that the waffenfarbe/soutache upon this cap is a purple shade of blue, thus we have described it as Transport, there is an case that it could be a medical unit however from our experience the shades of transport colour seen is a wide variety and we believe this to be a distorted cornflower blue (transport). Grey brushed cotton interior lining. Stamped size ‘57’ maker marked with huge date of ‘1940’.
