An enlisted mans quality construction officers overseas cap. Standard silver piping to the crown and front scallop of the cap. Although not size stamped we estimate size 56 or 57. Correct Bevo woven officers eagle fitted, a rather oxidised wire woven cockade with the inverted V of golden yellow cavalry. Pinned to the cap between the base of the eagle and the upper part of the cockade is the jawless skull tradition badge worn by the Regiment Staff of1, 2, 4, 5 and 11 squadrons of the 5th Cavalry Regiment and by all units of the 4th Cavalry Division. Some slight degrading to the russet brown brushed cotton lining. The sweatband is the half size version normally found in overseas caps.
