GERMAN WWII COASTAL ARTILLERY OFFICERS OVERSEAS CAP.

A very nice Coastal Artillery officers overseas cap. A small area of 3cm length at the rear of the cap having a repaired moth attack, there are other moth holes but they are underneath the side curtains, otherwise the nap to the cloth is superb. Standard gold officers cording to the side curtains, fitted with the enlisted ranks Bevo woven yellow on green eagle and correct cockade, with the inverted yellow V waffenfarbe of the Coastal Artillery. Maker marked and size stamped ’55’ date ‘1940’ with an original owner’s name hand applied.
