GERMAN WWII ARMY TROPICAL PANZER OFFICERS OVERSEAS CAP.

A rare cap being the officers version of the overseas cap. The silver piping that surrounds the whole crown and the front scallop of the cap has subdued to an extent that it is difficult to differentiate it between the tropical cloth and the officers silver cording, also the inside of the eyelets have oxidised indicating that this cap has been sitting in a damp situation for many years. Complete with its enlisted mans light blue on tan eagle, matching 1st pattern cockade with the inverted V of a panzer unit waffenfarbe. Profusely marked to the interior size ‘57’, ‘BII 40’ markings that we seen quite often within panzer berets and black panzer overseas caps.
