BRITISH WWII IRVIN JACKET.

A good early pattern 2 panel clean example of the famous RAF Irvin jacket, the skin good and strong, this has been treated and it has no evidence of skin rot however the shoulder area is starting to split slightly (viewing current photos of the damage is recommend), which is quite common with the Irvin jacket. The interior sheepskin lining is superb with the correct 9 air vents underneath each armpit. Both sleeve zips are the original dot pattern, complete with its original waist belt and single pronged buckle. The main front zip appears to have been replaced with a YKK but matches in colour. The neck closure strap intact. The hanging chain is missing. We can only test the size of it and it would appear to be suitable for a size 38 or 40 inch chest, Please remember we do not offer clothing to fit, returns will not be considered if it is not able to fit the buyer. we only give this size guide for mannequin fitting
