GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE DRESS BAYONET FROG.

A very nice deep brown supple leather frog for the K98 bayonet or the dress bayonet. Good Luftwaffe acceptance markings ‘L.B.A.’ followed by a series of numbers accompanying faint airfield details of ‘FLH.Koln.Aachen’. Unfortunately as was the habit in the 1960’s or 70’s with uneducated collectors the owner has tried to enhance the frog by stamping ‘RZM’ into the leather as can be seen by our web images, an attempt can be made to erase these markings if needed.
