A nice clean example of the Schutzpolizei shako. All green body. One moth nip to the green covering at the rear of the helmet. Black patent crown and front and back peaks. Correct black chinstrap. Large police eagle and correct police cockade, the cockade itself being ‘Assmann’ marked. To the interior the liner is complete showing wear use, with its original drawstring with the stamp size ‘58’ and the decal of the maker ‘Hans Romer of Neu-Ulm’.
