GERMAN WWI BAVARIAN UHLAN LANCE.

A very nice condition two-piece lance used by a Bavarian Uhlan Regiment. The majority of Prussian lances come in one-piece, the Bavarians appear to be in two-pieces. The centre section bound in lacquered twine, complete with a leather carrying strop, whether this is original to it or not we have no idea. Standard lance point, which is Imperial acceptance stamped and dated ‘1915’. Attached to the lance is the lance pennon with the Bavarian lion and the blue and white coat of arms, one side faded more than the other. Normally we do not purchase into stock Prussian lances as they are too long to ship, this, even with one section being 183cm it still is within the limits of our UPS contract. Overall creasing to flag, its pennon, which can be pressed flat. Please consult regimentals for shipping rates.
