An ultra rare visor cap of WWI being the Baden field chaplains visor cap, violet/purple centre band, violet/purple piping to the crown, field grey body, national and Baden cockades fitted, nice quality cloth, no moth damage or staining. Canvas leather-like ersatz sweatband with field grey brushed cotton lining. Standard fibre peak. Narrow black chinstrap with black side buttons. The chaplains cross being of a nice form.
