GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS OVERSEAS CAP.

A small size 53 Luftwaffe officers overseas cap, nice quality ribbed officers material. Silver waffenfarbe to the sides of the cap. Fitted with the enlisted ranks machine embroidered eagle and cockade. Interestingly the cap also has a totally original period ink size stamp of 56 1/2 however the cap is certainly a size 53! We can only assume the size 56 1/2 was placed in the cap in error at factory level.
