BRITISH WWI TRACY COWBOY TYPE REVOLVER HOLSTER.

A rare holster from WWI, privately manufactured and purchased by officers, built to take the Mark 6 Webley revolver. there were two patterns of holsters produced by this rare company, one with flap, one without flap, this is the open style. Attached to an undated Sam Browne belt and cross strap. Slung in the cowboy style, stitching good and strong. To make the holster available for the Webley holster it has hardened somewhat and needs soaking in leather food for a period to soften the leather. A scarce piece of privately purchased officer equipment.
