BRITISH WWII CHAPLAINS 2nd PATTERN PARATROOPER HELMET.

We have recently purchased this collection primarily of German items but this collection included a lot of German chaplain and field bishop items. Along the travel and journey of 50 years of collecting the collector has obtained this rare British 2nd pattern paratrooper helmet issued and worn by a field chaplain. Nice condition inside, standard manufacturer markings of ‘BMB 1944 size 7 7/8th’ The Sorbo rubber has the classic smell of a British paratrooper helmet. Complete with its light cream canvas harness and central drawstring. All webbing straps present with the leather and suede chin cup. The exterior shell is painted black with a small white chaplains cross both to the front and back of the helmet. A rare piece.
