GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE TROPICAL OVERSEAS CAP.

A very nice condition service worn enlisted ranks tropical overseas cap, consrtructed in a weight of material halfway between the lightweight smooth and the heavy ribbed. Size stamped ‘56½’. A faint date of ‘1941’ to the interior. Correct triangular form Luftwaffe blue grey eagle on tan background with its correct Bevo woven national cockade. Just below the Bevo woven cockade on the lower edge some degrading to the material with stitches holding the lining to the main body rotted through age.
