GERMAN WWII RLB 1ST PATTERN OFFICERS DAGGER.

An extremely nice example of the 1st pattern RLB officers dagger. Excellent blade with much cross grain finish remaining by Paul Weyersburg of Solingen. Good heavy nickel plated fittings to the cross guard and grip cap. The 1st pattern RLB insignia, which is in blue enamel is totally undamaged, in its matching scabbard where the heavy nickel fittings match in colour to the fittings of the grip, the leather matching in grain and in age to the grip leather. Original leather hanger, silver oval central joining cap with its sprung loaded belt clip. To the right hand side tip of the cross guard the WA acceptance stamp found on a lot, not all, of 1st pattern RLB officers daggers.
