The commonly seen white fur cap, worn in great quantities by the Luftwaffe in winter condition, this example being officer field upgraded having silver cording added around the crown of the cap with an officers white backed Luftwaffe eagle and wire woven cockade below. Standard fur lining. The side curtains are held together at the top by a button. Large canvas label stitched to the interior with a series of unidentified numbers, followed by ‘GR.59’ (size) full date ‘1942’.
