GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN FIELD ARTILLERY NCO HELMET CASED.
A beautiful untouched helmet of a senior nco or 1 year volunteer in a Prussian Field Artillery Regiment. The helmet is untouched in its case since WWI, the skull has toned to the beautiful matt finish, which happens very often to helmets that have been kept in their original boxes. Slightly toned gilt overall. Smooth plume holder. Officers cut out Prussian crown. Officers domed chin scales, this is the indication that it is a field artillery and not a foot artillery regiment. Officers quality leather and silk liner. Beautiful colour to the leather to the interior of the skull. Approximately size 58, which is large for an Imperial German pickelhaube. Complete with its black parade plume, in its original carrying case, which has some slight damage to the crown area of the case and the closing strap is broken at its farther point. Complete with its enlisted style national and state cockades.
