GERMAN WWI ALL TIN PRUSSIAN PICKELHAUBE.

A nice condition all tin Prussian enlisted mans pickelhaube, these were primarily made by the tin toy manufacturers. Excellent skull with just four minor indentations. One slight area of rust bleed around the crown of the Prussian plate and the very tip of the right hand wing of the Prussian plate itself. All brass finish, non removable spike. As quite often happens with these helmets virtually every tin pickelhaube we have had has had a dent in the point of the spike. Original state and national cockades. Original chin strap. To the interior mid tan liner all intact with some water staining. The felt inner lining to the crown is present with faint traces of the Berlin maker mark faintly stencilled to the interior front peak.
