GERMAN WWII ARMY GENERAL'S OFFICERS DAGGER STRAPS.

A rare pair of hanging straps for an Army General’s dagger. Standard brocade lace, instead of the normal matt velvet on the reverse side a shiny velvet of a much thinner grade as been used. The top clip is of the standard floriated type in a grey finish. The oval buckles and the adjuster loops below are in gilt with only faint traces of the gilt remaining to the sprung loaded clips.
