A quite unique example of the M.41 field cap being one of the very first of the 2nd pattern caps produced with the inner sweatband but still having the soutache in place, after production orders were issued for the soutache to be removed, we believe this was a white piped cap for army flak. Complete with its correct configuration of insignia with the blue on tan Bevo woven eagle and cockade. Standard twin zinc side vents. Markings have faded to the interior. Approximately size 55.
