GERMAN WWII AFRIKA M.41 PIONEER MANS VISORED FIELD CAP.

A superb example of the M.41 field cap, bleached totally white, still with its untouched two-piece insignia set in Bevo blue on tan. Minor scuffs to the material on the crown area and wear. The front edge of the peak is worn away. The interior lining is shredded in places and bleached white. It is an example of the soutache being removed, this was a pioneer mans cap, faint traces of the black waffenfarbe can be seen by lifting the seam at the join between the main body of the cap and the peak. The size is approximately 57.
