GERMAN WWII AFRIKA KORPS 1ST PATTERN TUNIC.

A lovely bleached well worn tunic from the North African theatre. Toning overall to the tunic, it can clearly be seen where the covered areas have been protected from the sun and still have original colour. The shoulder boards have been removed, the shadows where the shoulder boards were fitted can clearly be seen. Bevo woven tan on blue collar patches. An original Bevo woven eagle is fitted as is the Afrika Korps block capitals cuff title. All tropical tunics have pre sewn holes for removable buttons, this tunic has had its five front closure buttons sewn directly to the tunic in a different postion to allow a larger wearer to wear the tunic. All of the other pocket buttons are of the removable type. Very faint traces of markings to the inner skirt of the tunic. A very nice Stabsgefreiter tropical rank patch sewn to the right hand sleeve as the tunic is viewed.
