GERMAN WWI CAVALRY Y STRAPS.

A very rare set of Y straps for cavalry units, many of these were acquired by infantry units to give better support for the heavy ammunition pouches. Marked ‘Kiess Berlin’ dated ‘1916’. Good strong black leather, all supple with all brass fittings. Very usable for mannequin display.
