IMPERIAL GERMAN/THIRD REICH MG08 ZF12 OPTICAL SIGHT.

A very nice condition ZF12 MG08 machine gun optical sight and carrying case, used at the beginning of WWII and by second line units throughout the course of the war. Excellent condition brown leather case, issue stamped ‘WW.K34’ indicating 1934 with the early ‘WA’ acceptance stamp below the eagle with the number ‘57’. Compartment in the lid for coloured lenses, one missing. The sight retains approximately 90% original field grey painted finish and marked ‘ZF12 40356’ with the individual gun number ‘3049’. Optics perfect. A very nice cased item.
