GERMAN WWII M.43 INFANTRY COMBAT TUNIC.

A good condition medium size slate grey M.43 combat tunic. Six button front, closed neck, originally designed to have the upper pockets with pleats but the pleats were removed before construction began. Good nap to the cloth. Slip-on shoulder boards, which are white silk piped for infantry. A matching set of Bevo woven universal grey on grey collar patches with the triangular form Bevo grey on green breast eagle. Captured Italian grey herringbone twill lining, profusely marked to the interior, RB numbered, size stampings with a depot issue stamp, the letter is obscured but the date ‘44’ is clear. Bandage pocket complete. No moth damage anywhere on the tunic. A very good example.
