Excellent example almost mint, apart from a small area of staining on the reverse side. Maker marked ‘4’ (Steinhauer & Luch, Ludenscheid) on wide tapering pin. Matt silver finish with bright polished highlights. The case is the flat top type covered in black paper artificial leather impressed with the full silver War Service Cross outline. Inside the lid the top in lined in artificial white silk and the base of the box with black felt. Slight stain to the upper inner cased silk from the application of a previously applied price label.
