GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN GUARD UHLAN HELMET.

A very nice all leather bodied with metal removable mortarboard top Uhlan helmet worn by an enlisted man in an unidentified Prussian Guard Uhlan regiment. The skull is excellent, the peak is securely attached to the main body, the removable mortarboard top in metal in excellent condition with all of its paint finish remaining with slight spidering coming through the steel to the paintwork on the mortarboard top. Large Prussian Guard front plate with its Guard Star all in field grey. Front leather strap with field grey fittings. The helmet is complete with its Reich cockade and a Prussian field cockade fitted to the mortarboard top. The interior 10 tongued liner is all intact, slight roughness to the leather at the lower edge where it meets the main body. All tongues complete with their original drawstring. The interior skull has good original mid tan colour.
