GERMAN WWII ARMY PARADE FIBRE HELMET.

A good clean example of the rare lightweight fibre parade helmet for the German forces. Some distortion to the form, this quite often is caused by extreme heat, with both of its Army decals intact, some slight losses to the left hand side of the army decal and some losses, which can be viewed via our web images to the national tricolour and cracking. Both air vents complete with their gauze wire centres, complete with its scalloped edged Erel marked sweatband and its original chinstrap. The edges of the sweatband showing some slightdamage from leather red rot, the very tip of the chinstrap intact but delicate. An original hand applied name, which appears to be ‘Hauptmann Gambert Dusseldorf’.
