IMPERIAL GERMAN MILITARY PASS PHOTOGRAPH AND WOUND BADGE GROUPING.
A standard military pass to a member of the Magdeburg Infantry Regiment No.67 3rd Company. The Wehrpass is all complete with name, religion and address. Pages 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 all have had written annotations of service in the field with a printed laid in sheet of service areas on the Western Front between October 1916 and November 1917, he is also a member of the 1st Machine Gun Company. Accompanying the Wehrpass is a postcard size photograph of the soldier in a field made wood frame with a spray of oak leaves at the top and an Iron Cross with the date ‘1917’. The picture shows the soldier wearing a 1915 bluse but without any insignia, as a consequence it is difficult to ascertain what the rank of this soldier is, he is wearing a Wound Badge at his lower right breast as the tunic is viewed and is wearing a visor cap, it is fitted with what appears to be enlisted ranks quality roundels. Within the group there is a very nice Imperial Black Wound Badge fretted type.
