GERMAN WWI TRENCH SHIELD.

The regularly identifiable item known as the sniper trench shield, these were used in great numbers on top of the trenches in WWI for snipers to shoot through with some very good protection. This item not ground dug but does have a degree of surface corrosion, complete with its movable access shield and its prop. Collectors should be aware of the great weight of this and Regimentals should be contacted before ordering to ascertain postage costs to wherever the collector is located.
