GERMAN WWI K98 BAYONET FROG.

A very nice condition regimentally marked and dated bayonet frog for the K98 bayonet. Marked ‘J.R.52 1914’. All stitching good and strong. A collector repair has been administered in the area just behind the pre punched hole for fitting to a bayonet frog. It is obvious that the leather between the pre punched hole and the top of the frog opening had split and it has been strengthened.
