GERMAN WWII SCHWIMMWAGEN MANUAL AND ORIGINAL POUCH.

An incredibly rare item of German military vehicle equipment being the drivers manual for the highly desirable amphibious vehicle known as the Schwimmwagen. This fully illustrated manual unfortunately has the front cover missing. Image 1 and 2 are completely adrift from the main book, these images show Waffen SS troops operating the Schwimmwagen in water. The book then moves to Image 4, the book is then all intact and finishes at Image 61. It shows the full operation of the vehicle, how the engage the amphibious equipment, all of its electrical and gearing, full graphic details of the construction and operation of the Schwimmwagen. There is another loose sheet at the end, which relates to vehicles and two loose pages, which also relate to the Schwimmwagen, which are numbered Image 69 and Image 70. All contained in its original leatherette vehicle pouch, which was kept with every vehicle, stencilled to the exterior WL (indicating a Luftwaffe vehicle) 109496.
