The very first of the good books written on the subject of the Third Reich daggers, first published in 1965, this is a 1970 3rd printing. 240 pages of much in-depth text with excellent black and white photographs of all the standard edge weapons of the Third Reich, some colour plates from the original catalogues. Jim Atwood was the first of the American researchers to go to Solingen and carry out in-depth research into the different models and production of the Third Reich edge weapons and is a must in anybody’s library interested in daggers. It still has its original fly cover, although a bit ragged and there is some age foxing to the corners, nevertheless a scarce book.
