GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE GENERALLUFTZEUGMEISTER OFFICERS CAP INSIGNIA.

The Generalluftzeugmeister were civilian technicians employed by the Luftwaffe, they were uniformed. The cap insignia is normally a stamped aluminium Luftwaffe eagle through a cogwheel we have never in all of our years in business encountered an officers version. We have recently seen one in a very old collection on its original cap in the United States and have now managed to obtain one. For customers that view our YouTube video this was filmed by us on a visit to this collection and can be seen on the YouTube video which relates to the SOS Show in Louisville 2020. This insignia with identical backing cloth colour to the example on the YouTube video, it has some oxidisation and has never been adhered to a cap. The example in the YouTube video was hand embroidered as is this example and there are minor differences.
