Good clear detail to the front with the names of all his comrades in his unit of the 2nd Squadron and an inscription around the top, which translates into English reads ‘He who guarded Frances borders experience a lot’. The pewter lid in excellent condition, quite often these are damaged. The dragoon is carrying his lance, the thumb lift has the Imperial eagle. There are no cracks or chips, the item is perfect.
