GERMAN WWII GROSSDEUTSCHLAND PAPERWORK GROUPING.
A good grouping of booklets and paperwork including a wehrpass to Otto Heidemann, wehrpass photograph in civil dress, Heidemann born 5th April 1922. Page 11 showing him being a member of 2nd Infantry Regiment Grossdeutschland in October 1941, page 12 shows 10 individual entries dating from 15th October 1942 to the 27th August 1943, all relating to units he served with, all encompassing Regiment Grossdeutschland, page 23 shows the award of the Medal in the East, page 32 shows a record of areas served, page 24 shows that he was killed in the 1943 in Russia. Accompanying documents include his Reichpost savings book with accompanying paperwork, his Reichpost ausweis, his family booklet known Der Ahnenpass, a family ancestry booklet, a letter statement dated 1940 discussing his family history, other associated paperwork. A photograph album whilst a member of the Hitler Youth containing 76 photographs, many images of the young Otto as a member of the Hitler Youth in his HJ uniform with various comrades at camps and mountaineering expeditions, skiing, and other interesting aspect of Hitler Youth life. One annotation shows him attending the Gebietsfuhrer Schule, Langemark. A highly interesting group of a motivated Third Reich child who eventually joined with the elite Regiment Grossdeutschland.
