GERMAN WWII M.41 ARTILLERY TROPICAL FIELD CAP.
A very nice service worn condition size 55 M.41 field cap worn by an artillery enlisted man. Staining and light bleaching to the upper part of the cap, complete with its correct set of Bevo woven tan on brown eagle and national cockade. Inverted red woollen V shaped waffenfarbe indicating artillery troops with its standard visor and interestingly the cap is comprised of two shades indicating the continued use in German factories of so-called scraps from the floor, the shade of olive drab from the peak is totally different than the upper part of the cap. Fully maker marked to the interior but unfortunately obscured through wear use, obvious wear use around the forehead area. Standard zinc eyelets.
