FRENCH WWII M.26 ARTILLERY ADRIAN HELMET.
A good example of the standard army issue helmet as worn in 1940. This particular example has a good percentage of the green paint and a few dents in the areas of paint loss to the aluminium comb. The artillery M.15 type crossed cannons badge is affixed to the front. The black leather early pattern liner system is all present as is the chinstrap. There appears to be a soldier’s name and possibly a unit designation scratched into the skirt.
