A very nice clean example of the War Service Cross 1st class, cased retaining all of its original finish, marked number ‘1’ on the exterior of the wide tapering pin indicating the manufacturer of Deschler & Sohn, in its fitted case with the subdued image of the same medal to the exterior lid.
