GERMAN WWII SS PANZER M.43 CAP.

A highly interesting cap being a classic Dachau made single button M.43 cap, fitted with an extremely rare section of insignia, the insignia is the very late war printed type of the combined eagle and skull, cross hatch stitched to the cap, one single front button. No moth or damage to the cap. Classic Dachau construction with the underside of the front peak being laid bare in cardboard with no cloth covering. The interior lining is of very mild weave herringbone twill in grey, consistent with all other Dachau caps known. Stamped size ‘58’.
