GERMAN WWII VEHICLE MEDICAL BOX, VERBANDKASTEN.

The verbandasten, the medical box, placed in every German military vehicle. This example is with excellent paint finish, all the stencilling and red cross to the exterior good and clear. Full of various medical implements, bandages dated ‘41’ and ‘44’, many other medical implements and including a red cross armband. A small slip of paper protected in a non contemporary plastic envelope with a pencil signature with stamping below ‘SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Divisions Apotheker’. To the upper inner lid the full list of compliments of the box, which is dated ‘1941’.
