GERMAN WWII SA MEMORIAL ALBUM.

A memorial album to SA Sturmbannfuhrer Bruno Schnect. An album containg 75 photographs, 40 of which are family and civil interest only. The album opens with an image of Sturmbannfuhrer Schnect hatless wearing his SA uniform half bust with collar patch clear as being a member of the 3rd Kompanie Sturm 213. The first 40 images as stated previously are family and mainly concentrating on what are presumably Sturmbannfuhrer Schnect’s children growing up. The album moves onto the SA period with images of SA men marching led by officers on horses, then a large postcard size photograph of four SA men forming an honour guard around a coffin with a printed large below. SA Sturmbannfuhrer Bruno Schnect who died on the 29th July 1940 in Aachen. The following pages each have a single photograph postcard size of excellent composition and clarity on the parade through the town of Bad Segeberg in September 1940. More images of different arms of the party marching through the city with flags flying high carrying their Deutschland Erwache Standard, Veterans Organisations, also the NSKK, high ranking civil officials. Views taken with all of the SA members around the grave waiting for the arrival for the internment of the coffin. Unfortunately we have not been able to ascertain the importance of Sturmbannfuhrer Bruno Schnect, at the end of the album pasted into the cover is a booklet, which entitled ‘The Fallen’.
