GERMAN WWII M.16 TRENCH HELMET.

A nice sleepy helmet shell stamped ‘TJ66’. The exterior having much of its original apple green finish with some rust bleed through the paintwork, which is shown in our web images. Untouched rivets. To the interior the three leather pads are all intact with their interior horsehair pads. All of the tongues are complete, undamaged and supple. With its original M.16 leather strap, which is undamaged but is suffering from slight leather rot and great care needs to be taken with its handling.
