GERMAN WWI M.17 TRENCH HELMET.

Good exterior finish, some patches of rust bleed through the dark apple green finish. Maker stamped ‘S.C.Bellinger of Fulda’, the size of the shell is indistinct, they only made them in 62 and 64. The helmet is complete with its three white leather pad liners, all three of the pads have their original interior horsehair pads, the tip of one tongue is missing. The original drawstring is present. The white pads have heavy wear use evident. The chinstrap is present but has broken in the centre.
