GERMAN WWI M.16 TRENCH HELMET.

A good M.16 trench helmet, non size or manufacturer stamped but on test it is a large size. The exterior skull retains at least 70% of its apple green finish, original rivets. Standard M.16 leather interior band with all three of the original liner pads in place, two having its inner horsehair pads, the one without the horsehair pad has damage to both the tongues. The partial remains of the original leather drawstring remaining. The residue of an owner’s name hand applied in script to the inner rear skirt.
