GERMAN WWII VEHICLE MEDICAL KIT.

A lovely condition box with virtually all original paint finish remaining, slight chipping, known as the Verbandkasten with applied red cross on white circlet. Normally on opening these cases the upper inner lid has a sheet of paper adhered with all of the packing contents, unfortunately this is missing however all of the contents appear to be intact. The box is full of bandages, ointments, tourniquets, a single pouch full of medical equipment, eye patch, many of the bandages are ‘1943 and 44’ dated. The boxes themselves are still relatively available on the collectors market, however to find one as complete as this is today a rarity. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
